In mid-2008 Christiane Herr and myself started teaching sd5001 Innovation Tools for Strategic Design on SD’s MDes and MBA programmes. We also offered this subject as a workshop at several schools and universities in China, Europe and in the U.S. On this year’s annual conference of the American Society for Cybernetics in Olympia, Washington we presented a summary of these activities, raising some questions regarding creativity and education that we believe are important.
